Logistics follow-up
  • Take a picture of the important pages of your Passport and make sure that a trusted person at home has access to the picture (digital or a print-out, whichever is appropriate). Definitely take the photo page but take any other pages that look like that would have critical info if you need to replace it.

Academics
  • Students need to Like Canvas Announcements so Michael MacDaonlad knows they saw it. We will go over this more when we are in Ireland.
  • Michael to go over all Academics. Some important aspects are:
    • Journaling needs to be doen in hard copy journals
    • Notetaking also needs to be done on hardcopy (not on phones or laptops). If anyone has an accommodation that would prevent that, please email Jeannie.
  • Final Group Projects are in two parts – There will be separate submission for both Course 1 and Course 2. This will be detailed in the syllabus.

Code of Conduct
  • We went over the Code of Conduct in detail.
  • Students will get a copy and will be required to sign off on this document.

Health & Safety
  • We went over Health & Safety in as it pertains to the Code of Conduct.
  • A lot of Health & Safety measures are covered in the Code of Conduct.
  • We also talked about some Health & Safety issues from GEO’s orientation.
